Caitlyn was laughing at me for posting part "une" and never putting any more Paris pictures on my blog -- so here goes!
We attended the Paris ward while we were there. This is part of the BYU group that Caitlyn went with. She's third from the left in the back. (Note the one guy!)
After church we walked over to Notre Dame cathedral and walked through the church -- amazing stained glass windows. I love this picture that Caitlyn took with the Christmas tree in front and blue sky behind! I couldn't believe all the ornate sculptures on the facade and throughout the cathedral
Caitlyn and me on the steps at Basilica du Sacre Coeur (Sacred Heart Cathedral). It's on the hill (Montmartre) overlooking Paris -- wonderful view of the city.
Just up the street from the cathedral is the square at Montmartre, famous for the artists that congregate there to paint! Obviously, we had to help their economy and bought several pieces! Caitlyn even modeled for a portrait!
Dale and Caitlyn went out one night to the oldest restaurant in Paris, Procope, founded in 1686. I was tired & stayed at the hotel. They ate welks & winkles (different types of sea snails) and calf's brain stew. I was really glad I wasn't there!
I'll end this post with one of my favorite pictures -- my sweetie looking French!
Part Trois coming (relatively) soon! :)
