HAPPY BIRTHDAY, BRIT & BRYCEN!
More birthdays! Brycen & Brittany had their 23rd birthday on Sunday!
To celebrate Dale, Emily an d I took them out for sushi on Friday -- Britt's been craving it her whole pregnancy and could finally eat it (Grandma Pauline tended Janson ). Dale had to be out of town on Sunday, but we celebrated without him with a family dinner including all our kids, Grandma Darlene, Pauline and Kyle & Lauren.

Auntie Em Finally Holds Janson
After nearly a week, Auntie Emily finally got to hold her new nephew, Janson. She had been sick with a cold -- then had a rash all over her body -- then had ANOTHER rash all around her mouth -- all of which kept her quarantined from Janson. She did get to see him from across the room, but had to wait until the doctor told her she wasn't contagious anymore before she could hold him. Talk about torture!

Janson had to use the dreaded light box (for jaundice)!
As you can see, he didn't like it very well; but after lots of perserverance from mommy and daddy -- and Grandma Pauline who flew in from Vegas to meet Janson and help out -- and a special blessing from his daddy and Grandpa Dale -- the light box is now history!

WELCOME, JANSON DALE!
After over 24 hours of labor, Janson Dale Wadsworth made his first appearance!
Janson surprised all of us by coming two weeks early -- making Auntie Emily the winner of the baby arrival date guessing contest. And his mommy and Uncle Brycen didn't have to share their birthday with anyone else! He was a healthy 6 pounds 13 ounces! (I'm not sure who guessed closest on that) and made us wait all night to see him, arriving just after 6 a.m. on February 1st.
We love you, Janson -- and your mommy & daddy, Britt and Jace!
